It was always a dream to do the 4x4 thing and after I got married it was a discussion that was extremely quick between my wife and I. I think it took us 1min and the conversation was changed. She really did not think I was serious……..sooooo I recently bought a 4x4 to show her that I am serious……she just smiled…..not sure what the smile mend but it feel good to have a 4x4 FINALLY!
This brings me to the photo that I attached…….I discovered VERY quickly that 4x4 is not for susies. It took me an hour to get guts to call my wife and let her know that I am stuck on my first trip. She almost pissed her pans……….
To make a long story short, she came and assisted me with no hesitation……O ja and she could not resist to take photos and brought cast it to the world!!! But it was fun!!
First rule of 4X4 im my opinion…….know your equipment and the ability of it.
This is where my journey starts

Good photo Henry but please be careful mate. Is the snatchem strap over the tow ball of the Navara?
A lot of people have been killed or seriously injured lately. The ball sheers off the bar very easy and ends up being a flying cannonball towards the person in the other vehicle.
Below is a good read of what can happen.

Go grab a recovery hook/rated D shackle for the chassis or a slide in hitch recovery or even sliding the snatchem through the hitch receiver to the bolt would be better then the ball mate.
If you are unsure of anything mate then please feel free to ask us as we want to ensure that all our members have fun and above all are safe!!!
I'm sure a lot of us will be glad you posted this up mate as you could save a life on your side of the fence!

welcome aboard. One should research a bit before purchase or join a club or forum and learn. I hope that's not a snatch strap to a tow ball it is very dangerous practice and does kill people every year. Please invest in a 4wd trainer course on proper recovery and safety. In my opinion you're not 4wding if you do not get stuck you're touring. It's fun to push the limits and try harder stuff only after you build confidence and skill set
