2004 GU 4 cyl Turbo

2004 GU Turbo it is blowing gray to black smoke at present it started awhile ago and has been sitting for bout 2mths im looking at trying to find out more of what is wrong the engine check light came on and we put more fuel in after running tank dry but it didnt fix it i was told maybe water in fuel but not sure..started it yesterday n was clean for a few minites then back to smoke..last time it was driven it felt like it was dragging or sort of towing something when it wasnt.any and all help would be good thanks...

post up an introduction and people should start sharing their knowlage soon enough. black smoke is unburnt diesel could be many things if down in power check intercooler and hoses for leaks

dont for get to introduce your self

try cleaning the m.a.f sensor change fuel filter and check intercooler pipes for loose
fittings or cracked hoses

where do i find the M.A.F and can that be cleaned with a petrol type cleaner or special stuff.. are the hoses on theintercooler high pressure or just normal..
