Hi from new member...... (can I say the *%#'"cruiser word here.... :)

Hi all. After a bit of searching, I thought I would join up. The forum seems informative and friendly to fellow Patrol owners.

I've owned about 8 4wd over the years including a GQ wagon with RB30 motor, GU with 3.0lt, and GU with 4.2 turbo diesel (best one yet) The 4.2 had 3" lift, 3" exhaust, pump and turbo modified, rear drawers, ARB bar, winch, snorkel etc. This thing took me everywhere including Cape York. Should have never sold it.

I'm currently looking to buy another GU Patrol soon. I own a Landcruiser...... (am I allowed to say that word).... I can't complain as it's a great vehicle which I've owned for over 12 years and never let me down.

I'll let you all know how my search does for a Patrol and hopefully pick something up reliable.

I have a friend with a .....cruiser.... and it's always an argument who going to pull who out of a bog hole. Now that I'm looking for a Patrol the argument is on again....

Noticed your at Christmas Hills. What a great place. Did allot of 4wd around there in my younger days. Grew up around Eltham / Greensborough. Did you go to the Dandy Ranges swap meet at Yarra Glen the other weekend?

Tweakedoffroad & AB, I'm just outside of Wallan, Country Vic. Close to Mt Disappointment and 4wd tracks...

I love that swap meet AB. Been going for probably 20 years. I always spend too much money there.
Glad to catch up one day AB. I'm only a little north west of you. Might wait to buy a Patrol first as the Cruiser might not be welcome........ ha ha.... :))
