Changed new battery and car is starting thou taking a while to kick over.

Yesterday we put a new battery in our 1998 Gu Patrol, and now it's slow kicking over any suggestions?

Could be a number of things but to start off is it diesel or petrol?

Also, what engine is it?

Either the wrong CCA for the engine (diesels take alot of power to crank over)
OR
You could have a dud battery or an electrical issue
Usually with a diesel i get the biggest,highest CCA battery that will fit in there
