Hiya Moz,

Bit hard to pick where you are exactly from those pics and the Powerlines Track is very popular but be very very careful you don't wander into the Disease Risk Area at the West Talbot Road end.

The legal track is literally one lane wide from the Fenceline Hill (that last big climb heading east) along the fence all the way to West Talbot Road. All those very inviting play areas on your right are in the DRA and prohibited access. About once or twice a year the Police, DEC and Watercorp get up there on a blitz and it is really bad juju if you get sprung.

Not saying thats where you were... just a heads up for anyone unfamiliar with the area who might read this thread

Looks like its just off to the left of the main track, somewhere between the water towers an Flynn road but who knows lol........ didn't think there 'd be water up there still.

Soooo jealous.... I did the track 18 months ago in my sons hilux, no wet stuff though. Will be back with Thelma to do it again soon.
