leaf to coil conversion

hi, just had a look at a nice gq 4.2 d ute ,(round head light model) noticed the rear springs are coil not leaf, anyone done the conversion, and what would the approx cost be , cheers Bazz WA dx ute

They come from factory with coils front and rear.

If you want to convert a rear leaf to coil you will need everything for a 5 link set up
upper and lower control are +mounts that need to be welded to the chassis
panhard rod + mounts
coil springs + spring perches
Diff from a coil sprung patrol

I think in gq's you either got on or the other not half of each it was either all leaf or all coil.

As far as I know it goes like this;

ST model is coil.
DX model is leaf.

I own a DX ute and its coil all round although it is a 1999 gq very last of the ole girls also got discs all round as well.
