Joined this amazing forum, recently. I am looking to buy Nissan Patrol TD4.2 Diesel, Manual, and gather that this forum is the best place to learn about the vehicles and get expert advice where needs be :-). Glad to be here, would like to contribute, however my knowledge is extremely limited or non existent as of now, lol some day I will!!!

I'm not one of them! But have done a few bits and pieces and am happy to share what I know. This is true of a lot of others.

What I am saying is, you will get a lot of quality advice on here, including from people who are also learning as they go, but it isn't necessarily the source of answers to all questions.

We share progress and what we learn along the road - and I reckon if you don't have something to share now, you soon will!

The rest are like myself, know something about somethings, but little about other things.

Welcome aboard. You will be getting a great vehicle if your going for the 4.2TD. Having previously owned one myself I regret selling it. Pretty reliable vehicle. I'm looking to buy another patrol but the 4.2TD still holding their value. I'll probably have to go petrol/LPG to save a few dollars on the purchase. You should find something between $25 - $30k if your looking for a GU. Good luck.. :)
