Never knew this site existed, and
compliments to the creators and those of you who upkeep it. 10/10
I am a member on one other Patrol forum, Same username,
and i have made many forum friends during the course of my attendance there.
Sadly for me that - that forum has been hacked to the point
of which i cannot even contemplate logging into. and thats ever again.
Im am very much comforted knowing that there are quite a few members here
who also frequent there aswell.
Hopefully you welcome me here , sorta like a forced adoption type thing !! LOL's
=====================
Anyhow, for those of you who dont know me as yet,
My name is John, im a vic local transport truck driver owner.
I own a Silver GU IV 2006 3.0TD Manual Patrol.
Old Man Emu susp, 2 inch lift( i think), air bag assist in the rear,
cooper tyres, TJM alloy roof rack,
Chinee 12000lb wincherooney, GPS, Camera, Narva Spotties,
Turbo cooler ( lag control !!)
Tis my first Patrol ever, and one of which ive wished for for a long time.
( i never used to fit in one) Love it to bits !!
Live in Melbourne, and like to joke, be sarcastic,
and deffinately laugh at meself, so dont hold back, if ever.
I see this site is more family orientated,
and my language and my uploading of rude articles, wont haoppen here( for those who knows me)
do trust me can be decent..... okayyyyyyyyyy!
anyhow, i must run,
Got lots to do today,
and then come back here to learn more about this site, and yourselves.
ps. will upload some pics of my ride later.

I was gonna contact you bout a double bracket, with a centre pole for the camera, but i needed to get the camera as high as i could,
especially after bangin me rear bar.
Got the new rear standard bar now, and tried different positions with the camera,
and the only way i could get vision of the corners of my bumber bar,
was up on the roof rack.
I hate it so high (camera), but at least i know ive reduced me chances of smaking it( the rear bar) again.
must take current pics soon.

It gets expensive when you start buying gear hey LJ :(
Good man, that yellow Case is the wisest investment you could have made, i have a Pelican case for some of my stuff, it has saved my gear countless times from certain damage, not to mention the fact that ive skull dragged my gear (undamaged) out of 2 written off cars now.
LittleJohn
22nd March 2012, 04:11 PM
Sure does bro, bought a slik tripod second hand,
thats helped heaps with crisp pics,
amazing how much you stuff up pics when doing stills, hey?
that case is made by Pelican, but sold under the Kincrome banner at Bunnings,
Saved a packet there with that.. i didnt/dont mind the yellow, im a boater and me fav color is yellow !! LOL's
Here's an old car i used to have dude,
see i told ya i like yellow !!
... and i know you like old cars too !!
ps. mind you this was scanned from a negative,
my ex burnt my photo album the mole !
But i got the magazines still it was showcased in thankfully !!
what i'd give to have had the camera i got now, for when i had that car.

Thanks bro, was an absolute stunning car.
John Taverna was building it for his personal car, whilst and next to my race car at the time..
I told him if he were to ever sell it, it was mine.
So he drove it to Summernats, Couldnt enter it as he was a judge,
front cover of a couple mags......
Came back, i sold everything and the rest was history.
That car was freakin believable bro, i used to have it on jack stands , and would lie underneath it for hours litterally.
absolute masterpiece, full rotisserie , gee he even paid a guy to come from NZ ***** 5 star accom,
to come here and paint that shell.....
Heres a pic of the ZC he framed up and tubbed, 4 linked etc etc etc for me... we imported a 2 door fairlan from USA, and
turned my ZC into a 2 door. Ally 460 !! Ahhhhhhhh those were the days...
