Gas conversion

Hi all, being a newbie not sure if this is the right section, but I have a 4.2 EFI and I've removed the old gas ring set up and puchased a second hand Impco system with a piece missing, so I'm wondering if someone may have the same set up to help me out. In the picture you'll see that I have marked two pipe the first one I need to know if it is connected before or after the mixer. The second is fitted to the mixer in the BAL port, where would this one be connected? Keep in mind that I don't have a snorkle but will be fitting one later on, if that makes a difference. Also as a newbie I hope I posted the pic up correctly.
