Hi everyone!, Finely joined the site...! Ive been viewing for a while and found it very informative. Im getting into the more nitty gritty stuff now so thought i would join and get some advice when needed. My quarters look like crumpled paper so ive scoped the threads and they have been great! Ive got a gq 89 shorty tb42 running gas as well. Its my 2nd tb42 and absolutely love them. The running gear is awesome i keep trying to break things but they just keep going.
Alby (the trol) was a little worse for ware when i got him. The rear sliding windows had already been replaced with solid glass, Ive put in a 3inch lift, corrector castors and gearbox drop, extractors and 2 1/2 inch exhaust, rebuilt front and back breaks (almost), rebuilt carby / choke, 33,12 1/2, 15 cooper st's, Snorkel and air intake, as new radiator.
Im having problems with my gas now it has been played with but paying to get that fixed on fri.
Im considering new panhards for front and back, i can see the difference with the lift but it seems to run fine. Is it putting a lot of stress on areas? i dont know but it seems to be the thing to do. If anyone has an opinion that would be great!
Im pretty laymen to it all and learning as i go. Its can be hard and frustrating but at the same time rewarding!.
Well thats me and i look forward to meeting you all! :eck05:
