Hey guys, just wanted to know if i have to get coil spacers specific to the coils on my GQ at the moment, or do all coils take any spacer. Cheers

I think they are specific to the vehicle model mate. From memory GQ and GU should be the same. If I'm wrong , then no doubt some one will will correct me

IMHO I would not use spacers, I would be getting taller springs. I believe spaces are a weak link in your suspension. Admittedly my first hand experience to my statement was at the hands of a jeeper who tried to fly

I had coil spacers in my mav and I have always said they contributed to the roll over !!! as one of my rear springs jumped out of place when I blew out a tyre on the hwy

Yeah i have heard some bad things about them but i only have the money for spacers, it'll take at least a year for me to save up for a proper suspension lift, i have no lift at the moment but i just need to clear my 33' muddies, cause at the moment they rub on full lock and when it flexs up. they'd only be a 30mm spacer

Hi Boss.
I have got a set of standard GU2 springs and a set of 30mm spacers sitting in my garage.
Fitted to your GQ they would equate to about a 2" lift.
