hi all,i'm the snapperman,so called because i like catching snapper:clownredpuff:.i'm new here and in need of a little help from someone.i have a 2002 nissan patrol st gu11 4x4 6 cyl 4.8 petrol with a safari snorkel.i've removed the top screws holding the snorkel to the side panel,but what else do i have to do to remove it.reason being it has a small amount of rust just below the snorkel.

Gday snapperman welcome aboard gotta friendly mob here fulla great info and advice. Someone will no doubt have an answer for ya. You will need to remove from you air box as well and any other fixings

Gday mate. Welcome aboard. I think you have to take out the plastic in between the inner and outer guard(above tyre), then stick your hand up there and there should be a couple nuts about half way along the straight part of the snorkel. The snorkel is also clamped around the pipe that goes between the guards and may have silicone there aswell. Hope that's clear? Hope it's helpful.
