Wouldnt mind an rd28 head if your throwing them away. I want to make a new turbo manifold or my gu and put a bigger turbo on.

Any real reason you are blowing heads ?
Are you running too much boost without an intercooler & pump adjusted ?
Is it a heat issue as mines got 320 on the clock I run 13psi n all I've done is a head gasket but even that was the original.
Any more info would be great

Cheers TonyD

Hey tony! Sorry just saw this reply, the last head was actually on the original engine which came out when I bought it. I'm thinking I maybe had an airlock ? ....and was running bigger tires :s car has a modified and advanced injector pump and 3" 5foot pipe and blocked egr. Blows white smoke on startup, idles with a surge - I nearly got rid of the surge after ruining 2 heavy injector treatments, it's alot better. Car goes pretty hard for an rd28. Found frothing/bubbleing (no oil) in the radiator at running temp. and now it's getting harder to start cold and warm...

Thoughts welcome ! I'll be pulling er apart next week after a exhaust gas in radiator check.
