Hi to one and all, I live in Tauranga {NZ} & own a 1990 safari it has just failed a warrant of fitness.I need to replace the control arm bushes on the dif end, they were rubber & I will be replacing them with nolathane is there a metal ring/bush that comes out & does not get replaced? Cheers Mark

To answer your question the genuine rubber bush has metal in the center and on the outside of the rubber they can be a pain in the ring to press out because the outer lip is so thin.

genuine parts for Nissan are allways better . spesially seals and bushes

Recently had the truck checked over and was told needed to replace front control arm bushes....was told by mechanic to go with the more expensive nalothane bushes as the rubbers will wear too quick...vehicle is a GU being set up mainly for family touring but with hopefully hardcore toughness.
What do you peeps reckon? Still go rubber nissan genuine? :bananarock:
