Hi Guys, I just bought a LWB GQ 4.2 EFI that needs a bit of TLC. There's a few loose vacuum hoses, blows a bit of black smoke on warm starts (too rich?) and the ECU engine lamp occasionally lights up. I'm looking for someone to give it a health check for me, anyone know a good patrol mechanic on NSW central coast? Anywhere between Tuggerah and Belmont would be good.
Thanks.

One of the guys there is ex nissan dealer mech.

Last time there, I saw diff centre on work bench.
so they do more than bolt on mods.
haven't used his mech skills, yet.
but these guys have looked after me in the past.

and specialise in 4x4.
cheers.
tell him I referred you please.
And No I owe him nothing.
He has done right by me that's all.
And he drives the Nissan to-boot

Try Terrigal Mechanical in Erina. They used to own GQ patrols. Have my GU serviced there and they seem to know what they are doing.
