View Full Version : HELP! What's New thread view

Lads and Ladettes,
I used to be able to view all threads and new posts since I last logged off when I hit "What's New", and they all appeared in bold. Then if I read a thread they would still be there but not bold any more, and all other threads would still be there.
I have just changed my password on the forum and since when I hit "what's new" I only see new threads or new posts to threads but not the history since my last log off.
I hope all this makes sense but it's bloody annoying as I have to go into each category and check for posts I might have missed
Anyone?
Cheers

Sounds a bit confusing but I think I know what your asking...lol
If you log off it clears all your cache and for some reason clears all the "Whats New".
Just don't ever log off mate, just shut the window down but never log off.

Haha, I just read it and yeah its a bit confusing, but I think you're on the right path. I actually never log off but just close my lappy, so since I reset my password I logged in with a new password and old posts disappeared from the cache.
The posts are slowly building up, so it's just me talking/writing crap once again.....I'll just have another beer now...LOL

I did that once a while back and it was a nightmare trying to find all the new posts you missed.

I can't stay logged in, if I am inactive for too long, (like 5 mins) I get automaticaly logged out. The page looks the same but when I move to the next page I want to look at, the ads are back and I'm logged out.
I just look for the bold headings to know what's new.
