Do any of you guys use GU front hub nuts on your GQ ?

Hmmm - hub nuts or wheel nuts? Sorry for the stupid question, just wish to be sure what you're meaning - the 54mm hub nut or the round locking nuts on the hubs of some, or the wheel nuts for alloys?

I'm a confused soul!!! lmao

Sure Do!! I've used them on a MK as well as my GQ, makes the bearing adjustment so easy.

smg039 has them on eBay for $25 a side (Stillwell Motor Group Clayton Vic)

Mine being a 97 i think it came standard gu style was dissapointed as i already have a socket for the earlier nut type and have to buy a new tool damn it.

My 92 GQ EFI with auto locking hubs came out with it standard as far as i'm aware.

I think in the later model GQ's they used the GU style nut as standard, was only the earlier model GQ's that didn't, so really the GU's are only using something they already perfected on the GQ's *LMAO*
