I didn't realize Tasmania was that cold this time of year! lol
I'm guessing mud tyres don't work without chains, either? Nice pics.

Thnx, its Northern Pakistan, and the chains proivided the little bit of extra bite for making your own way in deeper snow!

In Western Australia, we might have snow about every 3 or 4 years - if that. Even then, it is only on the really high peaks in the southern parts.

Today I learned that it snows in Pakistan. /mindblown
Thought it was all hot deserts!

We have vastly different terrain all over Pakistan. This particular area (in pics above) in northern region called Kalam had lowest temp recorded this season of -19C. Was -15 on the night we were there.
On the opposite side the max last summer was in southern Pakistan, a town called Jacobabad, a melting 51C. We do have a few vast desert areas in south as well!
