Hi there, from BenB, the proud owner of a new ST manual. I have to confess that the change from Landrover to Patrol has taken some time, having never owned anything other than a landrover. I will really miss the oil leaks.
However the criteria was reliability, live axles and the ability to fix it myself when out bush so the Patrol was the go. I will post some photos of my new rig when I get it back. It has gone to a seat belt specialist to fit a lap sash belt to the middle seat in the middle row. Had it for only 18 hours before it was taken again. Hoping to get it back on Friday.

Thanks. I will be keen to hear some more advice and get involved. I see there are some worth while mods to be done on the 3.0L motor to keep it running well. I.e. EGT and air/oil separator.

Thanks for the welcomes. Will do the right thing on this forum! I have a question.
Given I am going to stick to 5000k intervals on oil changes and the car is under warranty. Has anyone obtained agreement with Nissan to "do it yourself" for the 5000k oil & filter changes?
I am figuring on doing the 10,000k services with Nissan as per their normal servicing intervals and then do the 5000k (in between services) myself as this is all that is listed on these services.
Comments or redirection to other thread welcome
