Hi, its Lloyro here, I have tried to replace my rear shock absorbers without success. The lower support pin on both sides are assembled such that they cannot be withdrawn sufficiently to remove the shocker. Has anyone experienced the same problem!
Whilst I have the shockers out I would like to fit heavy duty springs to accomodate caravan towing. Would this infringe on the smoothness of the ride in the vehicle when not towing.

Have you undone the top and tryed to move it as well, and did you unbolt the sway bar, also if you have Gas shocks you may need to compress the shock a little to get them to slide, WD40 helps

hey lloyro,
i have two different rates springs in my Gu, the rear are 400kg constant (2 inch lift) which are designed for cab chasis which are very heavy duty and the fronts are 200 or 300 kg constant, the back is a liitle higher than the front but it rides great. my troll has a s**t load of weight added to it though!!!
