What's this on my diff?

Was just giving the Q a rinse and noticed what looks like air lines going into the top of the front diff. Some metal, some rubber. They appear to have factory looking mounts along the long axle side. There's definitely no locker switch inside the cab.

Ok so it's the one on the right. I followed it up to a splitter mounted on the body next to exhaust manifold. Another tube has been cut off there.

Ahhh yeah I didn't even think of breathers! Derr! Thanks. Was so excited that they might be factory lockers.

Still might be possible mate, never seen breathers that big and don't know what a locker set up looks like

That bit on mine im pretty sure is the brake lines. Ill go check now

The square block with three lines is your brake lines and the other line is the factory breather

Cheers mate, yep had the brakes figured out, just didn't think the breather went that far into the engine bay. Also, it looks like the rubber hose has been cut, what is it ment to look like on the open end?

I cant remember mate but now ya know its there rip it off and get yaself some fuel line and extend it up higher and put a filter on the end

well thats the thing...look in the second photo, you can see where another line comes from the rear.
and yep, got a $2.99 fuel filter to do the job:)

Well that makes life easy for ya then as long as the other one does go to your rear diff

Probably is mate mines a full pov pak so they woulda been trying not to pay any extra cents to extend em any further hahahahaha
