Welcome to the forum mate, few Tassies on here so feel free to ask any questions mate.

I just did my dual battery and ran 6mm which wasn't enough. Go the 10mm cable mate, mine is running 100% and charging beautifully!

Get good earth off the chassis or engine as well.

WHEN I DID MY SET UP I USED 13.5mm2 FROM THE ENGINE BAY TO THE BACK AND FIT TO PLUG I ALSO USED THE SAME FOR THE EARTH AT THE PLUG AS WELL
IALSO USED THIS GAUGE TO HOOK UP THE DUEL BATTERIES

Welcome Tasgu,

Cable size requirements are dependent on the dual battery system you run and type of fridge you have. eg - if you have a simple isolator, you wil require larger cable 10mm+. if you have a proper charger it will only require 6mm. I have a redarc BCDC 1220 Charger and only run 6mm throughout. I also run 6mm to my fridge (60L Engel). I get about 2days out of my Optima 25/75 without having to start the car. All my camp lights are run off this battery as well.
Hope that helps
Cheers
