I'm not quite a patrol owner, but come from a family off nissan/datsun owners.
We have had '67 Bleubird Station Wagon, '73 1200 sedan, '83 Pulsar, '8x 720 Long bed, '89 Cabstar DualCab (ED33) and now '91 Cabstar DualCab (BD30).
I like my carrying capacities 2t payload and large volume, but can still carry the family. Only drawback is no offroad ability (the cabstar doesn't even have a LSD).
Wanting to keep it basically Nissan I was looking at the feasability of using patrol axles (live) front and rear, either moding axles for leaf or modifying truck for full air suspension. I've done some limitted research but am trying to find out what the carrying capacites of the axle assemblies if the suspension was not the limit.
Thank you.
