We had the Britax Rep at a recent club meeting. Very very informative and certainly good quality products. Been around for yoinks can't really go wrong if you want to spend the money you get a good product from them.

Fyrlyt... why oh why do people try and sell their stuff by bagging crap out of everything else. Every second sentence on their site is bagging the competition. If you have a better product then goodo market it's advantages.
Having said that they certainly look a nice solid unit but 300 watts via a DC DC converter... WOW... that is a serious load on a vehicle alternator at night, given you are on high beam and the normal vehicle lights and electrics will have you up around 60 70 amps easily. Turn on the A/C or Heater and I reckon you'll be running on battery at cruising RPM
Be interesting to see the price

The Fyrlyt looks pretty good and looks like the price is fairly good as well

I had a chance to play with the XRay's and they are very well build
