hi mech23,

if it is running, but is generally crook, and someone told you to check this, try a bottle of carburetor cleaner. plenty of brands available, and in a wide range of shops.

apart from this any more details? will it start, does it run but not well? have you pulled the plugs out and they are black & oily? did someone put bad fuel in?
