Hi all.
I have a issue with my ARB rear locker. It sounds like it engages properly when I push the switch and when I do anti clockwize circles the locker seems to be engaged because both rear wheels turn together and make the sound like they are locked in a but when I do clockwize circles they dont, like the locker isnt engaged.
There doesn't seem to be an air leak as the compressor only activates after locker has been disengaged and dumpes the air. There also is no oil leaking from near the compressor.
Im only new to this locker thing and bought the 4b with the rear locker installed so any help would be appreciated.

Ummmm.. I hope your doing that on a gravel road mate? basically you are forcing your rear wheels to break traction and to do that there is a fair bit of stress through your drive train if your going slowly.
Not sure about the answer though bud, try driving straight ahead for 50m or so with it engaged then do your Clockwise turns, that will sort out any wind up issues you might have or be creating.
Put it on a hoist and see how it feels.
Good luck and enjoy your locker mate.

Yer doing it on gravel. Had it on a hoist and when engaged both rear wheels turn in the same direction as they should with a locked diff. Will get some vids on Tues my next day off.
Thought it may have been an axel but cant be with both wheels turning the same way when locker is engaged.
ARB dealer want to charge me $300 just to take a look in the diff. Want to cover all options before I go down that road.

Don't these things lock up the axles in all directions.!.
How old is it?
are you the first owner ?.
any metal in the oil ?.
Its not a Chinese copy is it ?.
If if's gen ARB and covered by warranty maybe a they will cover the cost or % .
either way ( 1 would think ) you should talk with em first to ensure your covering your backside for a possible claim.
"maybe they will only have an authorised dealer work on it".

Yep they should lock the diff and work in either direction. The locker was in the car when i bought it. Looks like all original ARB fittings. Haven't changed the oil yet so not sure about metal in it. I don't think it would be covered under warranty. Going to check the wiring to ensure it is wired up correctly.
