Hey guys,

I got my hands on 1993 GQ TB42 fuel injection on petrol and gas since new with 280k on the clock.
1 owner since new, 2 inch lift, snorkel, UHF, new tyres. Comes with Gas cerf and RWC for $5000, no RUST at all, never been to beach or 4wding. even back sliding windows are spotless. Only downside is bonnet is faded and few scratches around as its 19 years old.
Picking it up about 10am tomorrow morning, Im super excited!!

So tomorrow on the way home from north brisbane to the Gold Coast, gonna drop by into supercheap or repco, need some advice

Engine Oil: Penrite HPR15 Fully synthetic or HPR30?
Manual box: CASTROL VMX-M 75W/85?
Rear Diff: CASTROL LSX 85W/140?
Front Diff: CASTROL EPX 80W/90?
Transfer Case: CASTROL VMX-M 75W/85?

Gonna do MAF cleaning, air cleaer and fuel filter.

Doing some greasing, installing water temp gauge as I dont trust factory temp gauge and few things in the interior.

Gonna clunk the photos up tomorrow night if I get time.

Cheers!!!

Yeh, when I found it on the internet, it didn't say that it was carby or EFI, 2 days ago, I pop the bonnet and got excited ITS EFI, and followed the air pipe and saw the MAF, yes it has MAF.

Cheers

Ive got a GU 2004 in the garage, Its mainly for touring, and its too pretty to do hardcore tracks, so I decided to get GQ and have it as a play 4x4 and daily.

The GQ has gas, I live in QLD so GAS 20/60 is the go I guess.

Cheers everyone, few more hours and I get the keys.

While i'm thinking of it,some Nulon G70 in the driveline components wouldn't hurt.Supercheap has them little pumps that screw on top of the oil bottle.Makes the job the a bit easier.
