Good lookin setup mate. Do those sliders have grip tape or similar on the tread zone at all?

Congrats on the time and effort you've put into your truck. It looks mint.
I won't be hitching up to you or you won't be hitching up to me with those front 'recovery points'.
I believe they were initially designed as shipping tie down points - I stand to be corrected - and I consider them dangerous. Different people have different opinions on their strength and uses, but sorry, they're not good enough for me or my truck. There are more appropriate recovery points in the market.
Having said that, I look forward to seeing future mods. Once again, well done!!

Yes they have grip tape on them as soon as the paint was dry .

The red recovery hooks that you are talking about are a rated recovery point as per winch challenge rules and I have used them many times for recoveries without a problem .

That's the story for a lot of new members - I'm a member over there as well, but as you quite diplomatically state, things have changed.

My next outing will be to watch MMM winch challenge rnd 1 up at tha Springs on 17-19/02/2012 . Good for a drink and a wheel .
