Hey all. Over new years i took the troll up to sydney. On the way it was great. Parked it at the house and went sailing with the family for 5 days. Come back to the house and the car works fine. Awesome, get in an drive.
When we get on the motor way, the engine light comes on.
I take a note of it and keep going, because everything seemed fine. After the second stop the engine light is still on. But we cant stop now cause we are so close.
So we keep going. Get home all is good and we hit the hay.

The next day, no engine light. GOOD (i think) when pulling out of the driveway and turning around, i hear a droning rubbing noise coming from the front of the car.
Still not sure what it is an mechanic is booked for a couple of weeks.

Any ideas??? Its definitely a mechanical noise and only noticable at low speeds. It sounds like something is struggling when the wheels are turned.

Turn your Aircon off. lift the lid on your air cleaner box and make sure that has flow and is not full of crap, check you Oil and PS fluid and go for a drive. Make sure you turn your aircon OFF.

cheers guys. Air box is clean, it is the power steering pump that needs a work over. all good :)

But the engine light is still an issue. Goin to the mechanics next week. i dont like to see it come on at any time, let alone at 3000rpm in 5th gear goin down the hume

All Fixed. Turns out that the MAF sensor was intermittently faulty, causing boost spikes for quite a long time. Got that at replaced.
And a day before i got it to the mechanics, i lost all boost. The turbo boost sensor was completely F***ed.
Got it back today and runs like an absolute dream!!!! best since i took ownership of the car.
