Pi55 easy mate the trolls already have diff breathers so its just a case of extending them up into your engine bay.

No worries mate, when ya cable tie em up dont have em drum tight, otherwise when you get some flex happening ya could damage em.

Yup i believe so mate on both your diffs. On the Q the rear exits into a hollow tub on the chassis id imagine your the same, definately not high enough and i cant remember on the front where it came out but both definately had em and just needed extending

Top stuff, cheers big fella. Might have to have a crawl around under the beast this week and have a bit of a gander. Whoo hoo

My previous GQ sucked water in when I crossed the Roper Bar--axle seal damaged. I ran a neoprene tube from the original diff outlet up to the vent on the rear pillar--not too difficult and it only needed a bit of tube-- no clever vents that may still get submerged.

120 bucks for that!!!!! It's a great idea if you do lots of river crossings but not at that price.Sorry Altech but I think I spent $15 on one for my Landy

I've seen people use a couple of cheap fuel filters screwed to the fire wall.

Yeah they got breathers for the lot the g/box and t/case i think join then run up into theengine bay. And as growlers said the rear goes into a chassis crossmember and the front into the bay most of the time you can just get away with extended them to said locations. I have seen plenty of setups with those little inline fuel filters tha others have mentioned also.

Yep, as nissannewby has said the rear goes to the chassis cross member and the gearbox, transfer case and front diff join together (yellow arrows below). I just extended where the cutoff rubber hose was with a bit of old rubber fuel line i had sitting around and put a $2 fuel filter on the end. It now sits as high as it can go just under the bonnet against the fire wall. I havent extended the rear yet but will do sometime.

Hi Guys, on holidays , hmmm I do the diff breathers , now after doing the rear to the fire wall , that's 1 down 3 to go , started looking at front one ,then followed nissan hose up to the fire where it has 2 more hose's , then there go up to and in the left hand front guard, hmmm easy to get connection point from there . is this right ?
