Hello Gents, I am new to the board, I live in USA, I have trouble getting parts here

I am looking at the Rancho Shock Absorber website, they offer the set but the only indication is 1991 Patrol GR, I believe I have a GQ

What is the difference? How to I tell them apart?

My Patrol is located in HONDURAS, but I live in USA......( I want to purchase better quality parts, so I opt to purchase here in USA, rather than cheapy Chines import in HONDURAS!!

Pretty sure a GR is a GU here but the shocks will be the same. All Suspension components will swap and change between a Y60 (GQ) and a GR. Hope that helps.

Chase up some Old Man Emu Shocks for them mate, World class.

GU (Y61) didn't start production until 1998 so if the listing is for 1991 that will be GQ (Y60).

Was watching a YouTube clip with a GR in it, looked like a mix of GQ and GU but a bit more like a GQ. Type GR patrol in YouTube and have a look. But to be sure perhaps just stick with calling it a y60 or y61

Thank You Guys for all the replies......

I type in both GQ and GR and I get the same pictures of PATROL

Those OLd MAN EMU Shocks look good!!! I never heard of them here in USA!!

By the way, is there a nissan catalog where I can look up patrol spare parts?

Spare parts are not available for Patrol here in US, but maybe if I look up PATROL parts in Austrialia, I can look up the part, get the part # and hopefully shop for it here by looking up by part#

(e.g a wiper blade for Patrol is part# 123) (I search for wiper blade# 123, I find it can also fit a Pathfinder, hence, would be available in US)

I don't know of any online catalogues but you could try sending www.nizzbits.com.au an email. Nizzbits deal in genuine Nissan parts and are usually very helpful.

Nizzbits will sort you out mate, even if its just for the list. you could also try logging onto Ebay.com.au as there is a heap of parts for a GQ or a GU Nissan Patrol there. At least it will give you an idea of what is what and you can contact sellers looking for international shipping.
