Hello again, I need a little help. On my 92 patrol GQ front and rear differential I would like to know what size socket is it and what type of socket do I need for the job and on a SD33 k160 engine has the same type of plug on the transmission but I just want to know if both are the same size and what type of socket do I need.
Thanks.

The square drive from your socket set ie. breaker bar or ratchet, i think its a 1/2 inch drive

By the way make sure you can open the filler plug before you dump the oil! I use an electric rattle gun

1/2" square drive will normally do the job but is a loose fit, check this link for the correct tool;
