Just signed up to forum I currently have a GU Patrol series 2, 3 lt turbo diesel .Previous vehicle hj60 landcruiser oldie it was but good reliable vehicle. The Patrol was too good an offer to refuse from my brother in law.2000 model with 135000km on clock mud terrains bull bar, tow bar ,turbo timer ,roof rack vhf radio ,ipf spotties just about everything I could want and for $10000.Well the comfort level in the Patrol to the HJ 60 are like chalk and cheese.The main use is for towing my boat a 6mt Quintrex which it handles with ease.I have blocked off egr and fitted a catch can and thermo fan on intercooler and in the process of installing a vacume gauge and Dawes valve and putting in a pyro gauge into pillar pod try and make this Patrol bullet proof.I have also changed engine oil to fully synthetic Mobil 1 still clean after doing 1000k
