Hi all,
I wouound up here by accident, no I should probably say good fortune.

What I am about to say may offend some people on here and I may get banned for using the T word so stop reading now if you don't like swearing.

I recently set out to buy a Toyota Landcruiser 4.2 turbo diesel 80 series but found out how rare they are so I was getting ready to settle for a 100 series petrol. On the way to the car yard where the 100 series was I made a detour to look at another car yard and when I arrived I couldn't believe my eyes, there was an even rarer Patrol GU 4.2 td 2000 model. It was more expensive than I wanted to pay b ut my missus was with me and she really like it so we forked out the extra money and bought it.

So far the plans are for a 2inch lift and a set of 33" M/T MTZ's, a winch (it has the factory nissan winch bar that apparently only takes a warn XD 9000) and a roof rack.

I've already had a look through the forums and learnt heaps of stuff from you guys already.

Thanks

Paul
