Hi All

Just joined up. Was looking for parts for the MK when I came across the forum.

I'm on my fourth Patrol, an '86 SD33T, and I just can't seem to get away from them.

I'm having some brake problems and I've posted a request for info in another thread.

I don't do much off-road these days, but it's comforting to park the old girl at the shopping centre and know if some a'hole runs into you they will come off second best, and you will still be driving home.

Cheers

G'day Trublu, know the feelin' about the 'holes'. I picked one up in a carpark on my Calais and it hurt so bad that I knew I was better off with a Patrol. Cant take the Calais off road either so I have done a swap deal. Sweet. Welcome aboard.

G'day and welcome to the forum. Great to have you onboard.

I need some extendable sliders to stop those ruddy shopping trolleys hitting my truck!!

Take care out there.

Anyway I'll add Bigrig and DX to the list to thank for the welcome.

Before you put the new master cylinder on, bleed it on the bench first and DON'T over stoke it.
Cheers, the ferret.

Hi

I finished up getting the one man 'Vizibleed' and did the bleed by myself, starting with the rear N/S.

Just jacked up and removed the wheel for the slave cylinder I was working on and worked my way round the car.

After I'd done the rears I didn't have too much pedal, but after doing the long run on the front the pedal was pretty good and finished up great when I did the last bleed.

Thanks to all for the input.

This is a great forum with a sh!tload of helpful advice.

Cheers

Kevin
