Does anyone have experience with Western Filters? They are selling 2 x oilfilters, a fuel filter and an air filter delivered for $62 on Ebay.

Im one of those who believe that a cheap filter is exactly that & only trust the brands I know with my Rig.

Yep, good call. I think I will stick to known brands. Although just bought a hose and belt kit for 150 del.

I've been pretty impressed when the interchanges I've had with Western Filters in the past. In reards to air filters I only use Nissan product.

Just looking at the filters for the 3 litre. The air filter looks identical to genuine as does the oil filter (made in same place?). I bought the kit of them as I just wanted to see what they like, some of these filters are/seems the same as Nissan OEM just not badged as ones minus the Nissan tax. Some are made in Japan some in Indonesia. They'll do me just fine for 5-10K intervals thank you very much. TBH I couldn't tell the difference between Nissan, Ryco and this lot. Air cleaner is identical to Nissan, oil filter I can't tell the difference and fuel filter looks the same as Ryco, smaller than OEM unit.
