Hi boys!

My name is Alex... and i an italian patrol maniac!
first....excuse me for my bad english! :D

i founded the italian first forum of patrol owners....
patrol for me is a drug! :D

my work is tuning and repair only patrol veicle!

i have a 2 model of patrol
1 tr k130 sd33t coil modified dual arb lock, snorkel, engine tuned with 160 HP
...and a y61 4.2d 5 doors ex UN....
next month i started a big project..
downgrade the 4.2d in 2.8td.... i have a new engine with 220Hp and 450 Nm of torque...
next step... cut the body to transform my cars like this....or similar...

but i have a very very huge problem....
here... in italy...dosen't exist the single cab version....
and is impossible to find the rear sheet to close the cabin
in internet i find a VIN number of an australian ute model...
but in "nissan italia"...they can't find response by the vin code i have.... :(

anyone help me?
i need the original nissan part code of a rear sheet metal to close my cab!
thanks....
and merry Christmas to all!

g'day Alex and welcome to the forum mate.............. there are quite a few companies here in Australia do this kind of work but they actually do their own sheet metal work. Are you able to do this?

Welcome aboard mate & im glad to know your keeping that all important Nissan Patrol flag flying over in Italy.

Can't help at all with those numbers your after but how do you go getting parts shipped over as you could probably get your parts here in Oz.

I have seen a few wagons chopped into dual cab utes, but have never noticed anyone making a ute - I guess because they are available here, and even if done, I may not notice them I guess.

Interesting project!

G'day Alex, I've not heard of someone downgrading a 4.2 and cutting the body away. In Oz Land we tend to make things bigger and more powerful. But each to his own and you have already been given lots of advice, hope you find a solution soon.
