He was a V8 Super Car Championship driver.

He was diagnosed with a brain tumor about 12 to 18 months back & he lost his fight the pore bugger.

Damn bloody shame.

He was only 34 or 35!

Very sad to hear this today. He had over 250 V8 races under his belt so was a champion with those stats.

RIP Jason Richards

Those stories scare me as sometimes you just don't know when your time is up and I'm sorry to hear the news!!!!

I guess we should all be grateful of our health and stop sooking over trivial ship and enjoy life folks!

Cheers Pearcey!

He was at Bathhurst with his great smile looking at the glass half full, can not understand he is gone. A true gentleman sportsman.
Only good thoughts to his family and friends at this tough time.

Wow. Can't believe I'm reading this.
As one reflects on life, where it's been and where it's heading, we can only make the most of what it has to offer and enjoy every day as it comes along.

R.I.P JR and condolences to his family and friends, thoughts go out to you all.

Very sad indeed,at least he got to see the season out.

A comment was made at a mate's wake the other week,"they say that the good die young, this is true but why?

"Why not take the Drug dealers, murders, pedophiles and the other scum of the earth, and leave the good one's here with us."

A true champion of the V8 supercars will be sadly missed next season.
