Hello, I'm a French expatriate in Gabon. I possess and drive two Nissan Patrol :
- Y61 TD42, diesel year 2002,
- Y61 TD28 with a second hand engine TD42 turbodiesel.
I'll send you some pictures later.
Sorry for my english which is not at it's best level !

Thank you very much, thank you for your friendly welcome !
I've a lot of things to learn about my new engine which comes from an Y60 Safari.
Originally, it was coupled to a automatic gear box but I've modified it to receive amanual gear box.
I've now a very good engine with enough powerfull to front the savanne and forest and the muddy roads !

How about spare parts in your area? Looks like You've made quite many modifs - engine swap, gearbox change.... Must have been many Patrols as parts givers. Say us all - it's fascinating all over the world - same thinking.
