Thanks to Troy (Thirsty) QLD member. Top bloke was kind enough to give me a replacement rear step. As i live in SA, my olds picked it up from Troy on the 2nd of Nov, and was sent via Aust Post to me on the 4th Nov. The olds paid an extra $2 on the postage to track the parcel.
3 weeks later still nothing, so olds chased it up that end and all they could tell them is its in transit.
Not happy jan especially after having a tracking # that couldnt tell us a thing except that it was lodged on the 4th Nov and where from. Anyway after a few more days we got onto someone that gave a s&*( and made numerous phone calls to try and find the missing freight.
Rang all the POs in the area except for one, so i went down to see what they could tell me.
Oh yes we have had it here for about 3 weeks now and we have just sent out a final notice, but i havent got the first notice of arival yet ?? anyway got the parcel and 2 days later got a final notice, a bit late now but anyway didnt recieve first notice or reminder and was told maybe the courier lost them... anyway if i didnt chase it up or get the final notice the parcel would of then gone into lost property and 90% of lost property never gets recovered.
Blah blah blah, i got my step and its on, but guys / gals if you are sending pressys for xmas make sure you send them as registered or express post to make sure they get to your loved ones.
Aust Post.....haha another friend here in SA had his parcel sent from QLD and it ended up sitting in a warehouse stock pile in WA. for 2 months before they tracked it down..
