We could fit the dawes and needle valve, the boost line needs to be braised into the pipe and the pyro needs to be welded into the exhaust dump pipe so couldnt really do that at Ab's. Could probs fit up the redarc though as well

Roofy, you are flying along mate...the GU looks great.
Completely understand on "mods thaT NEED to be done" without definately knowing history of vehicle......no point taking a chance, if it can be avoided.
Hows the 2 inch going...looking at that myself, at the moment. Information overload, all depending on who is sponsoring who:confused:
Love the colour, keep them mods coming
Cheers

Well done Roofy. love the colour. You are doing the NADS and mods at a lightening pace there mate. Next time we come over will be good to go wheeling with you in your new Troll.
Warnie
22nd December 2011, 12:16 PM
Its not just the 2 inches you gain in height from a 2 inch lift. You can gain much more given that the old suspension is old and would have sagged over time. I gained 3 and a half inches from my 2 inch lift when installed.

Been wondering for a few days as to why there was
fine oil spay under the intercooler
as ive been doing the nads on the gu 3l 02 model
i found early in the piece that the egr had already been blocked i thought that the original owner had done it properly
but as i found out not so
11281
THIS IS HOW I FOUND IT AFTER I UNDID THE BOLTS
Sir Roofy
30th December 2011, 03:42 PM
Then as i moved on to the next excercise
i found all this gunk black gooy mess 11282
11283
11284
11285
[attach]11286[/attach
so if you think your 3l dosnt need looking at
think again and do the nads
