GU 2.8 boost pressure

Hey Guys,
I have just fitted a Speco boost gauge to my GU and noticed the boost pressure was only 8 psi. I blocked the line to the wastegate for a short run and it was up around 12 and heading for 15 flat chat. What is the operating pressure for the 2.8?? and is the pressure controlled by the wastegate alone ??

I read somewhere that boost for the 2.8 should be around 11psi.

Mine reaches 12 psi max, did the same and unhooked wastegate hose boost went to 16, normal crusing with 29" wheels 4-6 psi at 100kmh

Hey mate, did you end up fitting the dawes valve?

What brand/type of Dawes is everyone on here buying.
