Hi all,

I have just bought a 91 LWB Maverick after selling my Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ 2001. The Maverick is is excellent condition, interior is like new.

It is running 33inch mud tyres and a 3 inch lift and has some great gear already kitted out such as winch, spotties ect.

I bought it because I never really felt that I could depend on the jeep if the going got tough in remote places. I had a lot of little electrical problems with it, none that left me stranded, but took away my confidence all the same.

The Mav is almost an over compensation for this, its a truck, solid as, with much less complicated gizmos to fail.

Keen to see some of the action other get into with their patrols, and I am sure I will be needing advice on servicing and repairs at some stage,

Say G'day, cheers,

cheers, just went for a 1hr drive through the hills. Its a bit slow (TB42) on some longer hills, and a lot slower than the 4.7v8 jeep, but I don't miss the jeep one bit!
