These two ad's had me peeing myself with joy this arvo.. As far as I was concerned, this car was mine.. EVEN THE DAMN NUMBERPLATE HAD TIM ON IT!!!

Detective AB, our illustrious admin here.. went on a full on FBI investigation for me and ends up calling the person at the address listed.. AND IT'S A JAPANESE DUDE!!

I'm shattered.. because this ad was very believable.. it's a good price but not unreasonable to believe.

A warning to the rest of you looking for another Patrol. Scammers are becoming more abundant on EBAY and Gumtree!

Mate, I feel for ya....It looked good!!!

Number plates match up to a Toyota Hilux on the Vicroad report, the address given was a japanese restraurant and the phone number was an internet number with a voice mail straight away...

Anyways, I just scored a ripper GU 4.2 TD today from Ebay today...I'll put up a new members ride thread soon...lol....Had to do it Timbo!!!

I just tried to quikcly do it then and some automatic response person just keeps saying "Sorry I do not understand what you are saying".GRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
