I hope my questions are not to dumb,

FIRST: my GQ its being sitting for at least 2 1/2 years and up until a few months I decided to start my project because it was finally given to me by my uncle after many years of attempts. the good thing is that he finally just gave it to me in good conditions....... but the bad thing is that it came without an engine and the only thing I can afford right now is a rebuilt n/a SD33 with the original tranny and transfer that I have in very good conditions.

To make the story short, time went by and finally the engine and tranny is in the GQ LWB with all the mods and every issue I encountered solve. my concern now is the fuel tank, I donīt think is safe to just fill it up with diesel and start driving and I am wondering as well if the my diesel injection pump at the engine be enough to pull the fuel out of the tank into the engine ????

Help with the this two concerns please

1. how can I clean up the fuel tank without any major work (without taking it down)
2. will my injection pump be more than enough to pull the fuel out of the tank and keep the engine running as a regular basis.

thanks guys.

No such thing as a dumb question mate. Someone with the experience/knowledge around diesels will be along to assist no doubt.

I'm pretty sure you'll have to tank the tank out to clean it though ... hopefully not if someone knows a way!!!
