Hi all,
the injector pump on my DT42 (92 GQ) has been leaking lately, so took it in to be looked at and have been advised that I should rebuild it, quoted prive was $1500 - $2000 PLUS labour.
given the age and condition of my car I am not convinced I really want to spend that sort of money on it at the4 moment, so have been looking for a cheaper alternative, a few people have suggested replacing a couple of the o rings (the ones that can be done without fully removing the pump) and that may do the trick, so I am going to have a go at that,
what my questions is, does anyone know where i would be able to find an injector pump seal kit? either online or in the adelaide area?
cheers

Try PetroJect in Newmarket (Brisbane) mate - have used them before and they appear pretty genuine and on the ball. They'd be able to guide you and send off what you need if they can determine the problem over the phone.
Good luck with it!!

Hey mate, do you know which seal it is leaking from?
Hoping It's the top as that is the easiest seal to replace...

They have given me and another Canadian Safari owner very good service in the past. If they do that for international customers, I expect they will be good with national customers.
