I have a factory installed 1 DIN radio/cd, with a separate 1 DIN DVD player for sat nav under.
Screen and console higher on dash.
How do I remove this ? Planning on relocating dvd reader (another separate post regarding wiring).
I would love to know how it is looking behind the panels ....

Sounds like one for the auto electric minded!! They'll be along soon to assist mate - no doubt.

So is it more a question of how to take the dash apart mate?

Sorry mate, normally im right into this sort of thread but I haven't done one so Im not much good to ya.
I know with the GQ's its a matter of removing the center dash section then unscrewing the cradle that houses the unit then remove the unit from the cradle once the cradles out, so its probably a very similar setup in the GU's but as I said I've not done one yet.

Seems like I`m the only guy in the world with this desire ???
(And by the way, I like taking things apart - and hopefully putting it back to working order again.)

You've got enough posts up to download the manual now mate so hopefully you'll find your answers in there.
