Super Diesel and Truck Diesel

hay all, my old mans towing his 3t van from Cairns down the coast (GU td42t) and the fuel stations around Gladstone have super diesel and truck diesel around 5cltr difference in price anyone know what the difference is with these fuels? Cheers

I don't know if the better diesel would make much difference in an older style diesel but in my CRD work van I get around 100-150km more out of a tank when I use Vortex premium diesel, I don't notice any increase in power.
