Well, after months of waiting and wishing it was already here it has finally arrived....wooohoooo.

Spent most of the arvo at the dealers(Jayco Canberra) who have been the most pleasant and easy to deal with people(brothers) sorting out the final bits and pieces. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone. The whole experience has been just outstanding and very professional .

OK, the pics are coming boys and girls...settle down.

Hope they're not too big...might be tho.....

Outstanding Kris!!! I'm green with envy - would love something like this ...

Question though - is it just me, or for an offroad van, isn't that a huge length between towball and the van wheels for ramp over/gradient climbs?? Or does it just look it in the photos??

Either way, I love it ... just makes things that much comfier all round!! Well done mate!!!

Mate, good question. this thing was never designed to do what an off road camper can do. Apparently these (outback + independent suspension) will get you where a single 2wd will get you. Meaning I can still get to most remote places if I
don't go on the extreme 4x4 tracks.
I will be right (i hope)to get up to Weipa next year but obviously not on the Old Teleghtraph track but PDR sould get me there....one again I hope...lolo

dunno what the ODT is NissPat, but it should have no problems on the Peninsular Development Road.

Just keep an eye on fasteners to make sure they stay fastened :-)
