Hey guys im new to the forum, just upgraded from a old GQ to a GU in the hope of a much more reliable car, not that lucky so far. first trip out clutch got heavy sticky pedal and reluctant to return, mechanic said clutch is buggered so changed that problem still there he was thinkin of booster but tested all that and was all within specs he changed master cyl , no change any ideas? oh its a TB45E '98

Try the slave cylinder they can stick

cheers man well give the slave a go tomorrow weve also got a flexible hose on the way up so fingers crossed

I never only change a slave or a master. I will always do them as a pair. that way you dont end up chasing your tail replacing one then the other.

My money is on the hose being the cause.

turns out its the booster that's got issues and as Nissan want $1100 for a new one I've just blanked off the vaccuum hose and running it without the booster for now its not too bad without it anyway just feels like a normal hyd clutch now
